Trivial pursuit

Did You Know...

That the native name of cockroaches are actually "Hougang" (Pronounced as Ow-ga-ng)? However, it was no coincidence that an area in Singapore is also named after it. Apparently, the area has a high population of "Hougangs" till a point of infestation that the local authorities conveniently named it after the majority population. So the next time you are there, watch what is above you, watch what's below you and get someone to walk behind you..
